The Coalescent Pin - Black
The Coalescent Pin Black edition is an original from our Coalescent pin series. Developed at a Melanin MeetUp, it is an abstraction of the Sankofa. The circular motif references the 3 points of the triangular slave trade from which the diaspora was created. The Triangle Slave Trade, relates to the mathematical symbol “delta” which denotes a changing or dynamic figure. The rearward facing guardian protects the seeds of knowledge from the past for the use of future generations. Now more than ever, it’s time to be connected.
